Agripreneurship Week 2024

In February 2024, the Agripreneurship Alliance in partnership with the University of Dar es Salaam and Technical University Berlin offered the Agripreneurship week to students and startups. In two Ideation workshops students focused on the identification of societal problems and the solutions that can be developed to help solve them.  Issues of deforestation, climate change, poverty, malnutrition, and post-harvest loss were considered, and business ideas were created and pitched. On Exploration Day students were able to visit Ennovate Ventures and the startup LIMA to receive insights into support for and challenges and opportunities for startups.

Finally, two days were spent with individual coaching sessions for Tanzanian startups in agriculture. A big shout out goes to Steven from the Agripreneurship Alliance for the successful implementation of the Agripreneurship Week!
