The Agri-Tech Entrepreneurship Summer School 2024 took place in Germany from 3rd to 12th September 2024. The Centre for Entrepreneurship at Technical University Berlin offered the international Agri-Tech Entrepreneurship Summer School. The intensive and interactive summer school aimed to empower postgraduate students in innovation processes and developing innovative and sustainable business ideas in agriculture. Six students from different schools (UDBS, UDSE, CONAS, IDS) at the University of Dar es Salaam participated in the summer school with students from six other universities in Germany, Egypt and Pakistan. Students experienced interactive and practical learning with various inputs from experienced business coaches, practitioners, and startups in Germany. In addition to workshops and sessions at TU Berlin, students learnt from real-life experiences through excursions. On the final day, the teams presented their business ideas inspired by different countries’ context problems in front of a jury.
