In August 2023 the first Agripreneurship Summer School took place at UDSM. The two-week programme taught 25 Master students how to develop and present sustainable business ideas in agriculture.
The programme included short lectures by business coaches and practitioners, input sessions by entrepreneurs and support organisations, pitch training workshops as well as site visits to startup companies.
Throughout the programme the students were supported by the project team and by experienced business coaches from Tanzania and Germany. On the final day the teams presented their ideas in front of a jury including the German Deputy Ambassador.
